Stripey Overload
While it was the parents' fault previously (see posting for November 26, 2004), Maeta chose this outfit all on her own. It looks like she inherited our fashion sense.

Spring Glorious Spring
It was a beautiful day for visiting the Botanical gardens. All the early flowers and flowering trees were in full bloom. It is wonderful to go south to grab a few days of Spring.

Swans-a-swimming
Grandma packed along some bread for feeding the ducks and swans while we were at the park. While this picture was an actual tableau moment, the instant was gone too quickly. We had to constantly remind the girls that they were getting too close to the edge as they hurled bits of bread at the swans. Linus, too, wanted to get closer than we could bear and Grandma's dog almost pulled her in while going after the swans. We finished up quickly.

See Saw
We made a brief trip to St. Louis since the girls had some time off for Spring break. Lafayette Square Park is a beautiful park surrounded by grand houses built around the mid-1800s. There is an elaborate play area for kids in the park and this is where Linus is on the seesaw with Grandma.

Cheeseball
Linus certainly understands that you have to say "cheese" whenever the camera is pointed at you. He also has a habit of wanting to see the picture instead of being in it. This doesn't work too well if we want him to be the subject.

The sand table is back
We have had some nice weather lately so we brought up the sand table from the basement to our porch. This is such a great diversion for the kids when it is time for me to be fixing dinner.
