Yellow nose
Maeta, being held by Auntie Mel, has sniffed every one of the dandelions she picked.

Fists of follows
Both Zofie and Maeta's vocabulary has been rapidly increasing lately. They have been noticing the daffodils around the neighborhood and have to point out every yellow flower to us. They are pretty good at the "l" sound which they use in favorites like "lion" (Zofie's toy) or "lap" (which is more like "llaaaph"). Flower, however, is pronounced "follow" by both girls. And don't even ask us to try to write out how "butterfly" is pronounced.

Blue nose
The Christians all met in Indy at Mel's place for Easter. Saturday afternoon was spent on the driveway grilling dinner, blowing bubbles, making chalk pictures, and clearing Mel's lawn of dandelions. Cousin Ellie enjoyed the chalk.

Palm Sunday sledding
For a number of years now we have been spending Easter with our friends, the Barnards. Since we were to be away this year we decided to have a Palm Sunday get together. Here Jane and Zofie are being pulled in the sled. (Note the corkscrew with the cork which Zofie is holding - starting early.) A few pictures later, Jane is trying to pull Zofie and Zofie's thought bubble says, "This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship."
