Sunday Finest
These are coats that Aunt Melissa and Aunt Erica used to wear. Grandma C had the buttons sewn back on and now the ladies are the looking especially dapper.

Kitty Shirts
I was in San Diego for a couple days and had to bring some token for the little ladies: kitty t-shirts seemed the purrfect way to become father of the year.

Snip Snip
A periodic trim---among Amy's many skills. I usually just hold the heads to make sure that the scissors does not end up in an eye.

Doggie
On her last visit, Grandma C brought the girls rather large, stuffed dogs. Maeta particularly loves hers and refers to it as "Doggie" which in toddler-speak is too-often indistinguishable from "Daddy". M has been a little under the weather and sits here in her chair wathching Z get a haircut.

"Sad"
Zofie had a little meltdown (I think about being told to stand still for a picture). I decided to get a bit of the meltdown on film to bring out at opportune moments. The title comes from Maeta. Whenever Z starts to cry, Maeta says "Sad" (pronounced /saaayad/) or "Zofie Sad".

Cough
It has been awhile since the girls had a real cold. We have been monitoring fevers and listening to sad litle coughs for the past several days. Maeta seems to have gotten the worst of it.

Helping
Lately the little ladies like to help unload all of the groceries. The weight of some items is still a little much (causing fear that they will break toes from dropped items), but all in all, it is a rather pleasant way to move the groceries out of their bags.

Wipe...
Lately both girls want to participate in their bath time. "Wipe wipe" they say, meaning 'let me have a washcloth!"

Dress up part I
Bets on how many dress-up pictures we will have of these two girls over the years? Maeta is prancing about in my very oversized sweatshirt and Amy's hat, even as I write this up from yesterday.

. . . not as much fun as you might think
Zofie ended up not enjoying her pigtails. We have seen this with barettes---Zofie wants them in, but then yanks them out, taking chunks of hair with the plastic barette. (Note that this was taken exactly one minute after the prior one).

Pigtails are . . .
Amy put the girls' hair up for the first time.
