The animals are not just on the walls
Although not the first trip to the zoo, I am quite certain that they did not remember one they took last October. We skipped church so that we could enjoy a cool morning (on what promised to be a hot September day) at the Zoo.
Admittedly, we have become the type of urbanites that find things like lawn mowers to be 'novelties', but when the Lincoln Park Zoo has cows and pigs on display, you realize that you are far removed from anything rural.

Animals on the wall
Amy put pictures on the wall this week---of animals from one of their favorite books. Now they bounce in their beds and tell us all about the animals (and their noises) when we come into their room in the morning.

Sitting in the Lego Wagon
The girls received a wagon full full of "mega blocks" (Lego clones) for their birthday. As with so many things, they like to empty it out and climb in. Unfortunately, the wagon does not hold two babies---this has not, however, stopped them from trying....

Maeta in her drawer
As we were unpacking the kitchen back in July, we realized that we would save ourselves a lot of headaches by allocating one of the low drawers to "baby things". It houses a number of tupperware items, some of which have been grouped together as "noisy toys". More often, the ladies like to empty the drawer and fill it with themselves.
